Now, you may be asking: “I’ve heard of “premarital counseling,” but what is “premarital coaching?”
The term “premarital counseling” can imply that the goal is to “fix” problems that may exist in your relationship. What you need is not to be “fixed,” but to be “equipped.” Our goal is to do just that. After all, a marriage is less like a machine and more like a team sport. And every team needs a good coach to make them a good team, right?
We’ll help you address the top issues that most couples face (incl. what the Bible says about marriage, expectations, personality quirks & conflicts, communication, sex, money, etc.). But from the beginning we’ll cater it to what you need the most. You’ll also find that most of your time will be spent with your fiance on “discussion dates” where you’ll tackle the issues that you face… together. With this approach, we actually find that most couples feel less threatened and more comfortable asking for input.
