Background:
I’ve been married for thirteen years and have two unbelievable children. I have spent most of my life in Dallas, TX and in the Tri-Cities (TN). I attended University of Texas (Hook ‘em Horns!), King College and Dallas Theological Seminary. I’ve have worked in established churches & planted two churches over the last 15 years.
What I love About What I Do:
At my heart, I’m a Christ follower. Maybe you would agree that there’s nothing like delighting and depending upon Him alone! No doubt about it, that’s what I love the most.
I enjoy directing, coordinating and helping people catch God’s personal vision for their life and launch them into the missio deo (mission of God). This is why my Blog is centered around the idea of people launching.
People often label me as an “entrepreneur.” I don’t think that’s too far from the truth. That’s because I love to seek the Lord for His vision and inspires others to rally around His call by stepping out in faith. Perhaps this is also seen in my passion to lead our church to start more churches.
I really love working with my wife. And we get to do that a lot more these days. We love mentoring people younger than us who in turn invest in, equip and unleash others. We both also delight in internalizing and communicating God’s Word in order lead people in spiritual life change.
My Feelings about Our Church:
I absolutely love Redeemer! God has assembled the most fun & loving people that I’ve ever been around. They have given me more than I could ever give them. As I told my friends the other day, “Other than my birth and my salvation, starting Redeemer was the best decision I never made.” It was all from the hand of God.

When we think about the the luck of “the early bird gets the worm” we sometimes forget the unluckness of the early worm.
